Large framed note on the cast page:

The San Francisco Opera Association is ever mindful of the great assistance the San Francisco Opera Guild has rendered during its thirteen years. Not only have they made it possible for many thousands of students to hear opera at their low prices, but have taken on the further responsibility of assisting the Opera Association in paying for new productions whenever possible. Their gift to the Association this year of the "Parsifal" production by funds they have raised from their myriad activities is indeed deeply appreciated.

Another note on the cast page:

The opera will begin at 5:00 p.m. There will be an intermission of one hour and thirty minutes after the first act. The performance will be resumed at 8:30 sharp. No one will be seated after the curtain rises. Please retain your seat check and present at door for admission after the intermission.

(There was no note regarding the matinee performance, which likely proceeded with regular intermissions.)

Settings painted by Eugene Dunkel and constructed in the Studios of the San Francisco Opera Association.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT We again acknowledge with grateful appreciation the generously donated use of the Emporium auditorium and facilities for chorus rehearsals this year which meant both a great convenience and a substantial saving to the Opera Company.

We also desire to express our deep gratitude to Miss Alice Hager for her splendid gift of French period furniture. SAN FRANCISCO OPERA ASSOCIATION
