"Con Amore" is a humorous ballet patterned after the Opera Buffa made popular by Rossini.
Costumes and sets are suggested by 1830 lithographs.

Thanks to W. & J. Sloane's great generosity there will be a fourth student matinee in 1961,
a goal which the San Francisco Opera Guild has long anticipated.
